Why We Built This Site
North Carolina makes many justice records available, yet it does not keep every fact in one public search. The Forsyth County sheriff maintains bookings and its own reports. The clerk keeps filed charges and outcomes. The SBI maintains the fingerprint-supported repository, while NCDAC Community Supervision and the Post-Release Supervision and Parole Commission serve narrower roles. We organize the verified routes so those boundaries are clear.

This is a privately operated reference site, not part of any North Carolina court, police department, sheriff's office, or state agency. Those limits mean:
- We do not retrieve official records or perform background checks
- We cannot submit expunction papers or public-record requests for a visitor
- We do not certify court files, criminal histories, or other government documents
- We cannot interpret a charge or give advice about a specific case
- We cannot promise that an agency has not changed a fee, address, phone number, or rule
An official copy must come from its custodian, such as the Forsyth County clerk, the sheriff, or the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. We can only identify the proper route.
